We are a working hostel with fabulous friendly staff plus a MASSIVE 22m pool, poolside bar and great surroundings as well as work placement. Choose from twin/double or dorm accommodation, with airconditioning and fans. We also have 2 movie rooms with more than 150 FREE DVD's/videos, a beach volleyball court, laundry facilities and much much more. We also have a BRAND NEW internet cafe with 5 new computers with high speed broadband, DVD/CD burning and memory card readers which are available for use 24 hours, as well as wireless internet access throughout the hostel.We provide free work placement to travellers with valid work visas. Fruit and vege picking is available from April to December each year.auml#60;b>With regard to the review - as a working hostel during much of the year, please expect that there will be alarms going from early in the morning, as well as work clothes and muddy work boots around the hostel. auml#60;u>We will do our best to place you in a quiet room if you are not here for workauml#60;/u>, but can't guarantee that you will be in a 'worker free' room, especially between May and December.auml#60;/b>About us here at the Deltaauml#133;The Delta Backpackers is a family run business. We are a quick 60 metre walk from the bus terminal. Get off the bus and look for a big metal shed - we are the other side, you will walk up to Reception past the back garden, pool and volleyball court.We offer free pick up from the train station - just call us!We are located in the middle of the main street of town, you can't get any closer than that! We are next door to the cinema and located in the same block as cafes, banks, shops, camping equipment store, post office, tourist information centre and more! We are one block from 2 supermarkets.
