Abhostel

Welcome to Antwerp Backpacker Hostel. This is a new small, cosy, clean hostel within walking distance from central station, diamant centrum, design center, shopping streets, trendy pubs and restaurants and the famous Cogels Osylei. The hostel is a 120 year corner house with original elements, a beautiful faauml#231;ade, trendily renovated by today's standards. You can sit outside and enjoy the neighborhood. In front of the door you will find a bus-stop, laundry service and a wide range of mini-markets. So you can make a cheap meal in our fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen has free coffee and tea, cooking facilities, herbs and homemade meals on request. The Lounge is equipped with games, dvd's, internet (hotspot), travel guides, free book swap, beer tasting. This is a lovely room with a great atmosphere, and ideal place to meet other travelers. Our bathrooms are new and clean with one on every floor with hot showers. The bedrooms are all very clean and spacious with very good mattresses. By train: Antwerp has 2 train stations.From Berchem: take bus nr 34 and ask the driver to drop you at langstraat (koxplein) (1,5 euro). Continue 100m in the same direction and you will find us on the left of the next corner.From Antwerpen central: take exit pelikaanstraat, go left and left again under the first railwaytunnel. Now you go straight in the lange kievitstraat, cross the provinciestraat and continue to milisstraat. Cross the kroonstraat and go straight again to oedenkovenstraat, on the next crossroad go right to sergeyselsstraat. You will find abhostel on the right of the next corner. This walk will take less then 15 minutes.By eurolines: take tram 11 to eksterlaar and ask for the stop ploegstraat (1,5 euro), now you are in provinciestraat, follow the rails for 100m and you will find the milisstraat on the left. Enter this street and go straight. Cross the kroonstraat and go straight again to oedenkovenstraat, on the next crossroad go right to sergeyselsstraat. You will find abhostel on the right of the next corner. This walk will take less then 5 minutes.
