Hostal de l'Alguer

The hostel de l' Alguer is part of the Hostelling International association of Hostels in Italy. We are a nice and friendly hostel situated in one of the most beautiful cities in Sardinia. We are only a 5 minute walk from the beach 'Punta Negra' and you can easily reach other wonderful beaches like 'Spiaggia delle Bombarde' and 'Spiaggia del Lazareto' from here also.Pure white sands alternate with tiny hidden coves, sheer cliffs frequently soar above magnificent caves and picturesque rocks rise from a clear sparkling sea facing rugged promontories, eroded by the wind.The inland villages too possess features of interest to the visitors.Another tourist attraction that you can visit is 'Grotte di Nettuno', only 10 Km far from the hostel.Please note, if you are not a Member of Hostelling International there is an extra charge of auml#128;3 per person per night. Once you have stayed 6 nights at a HI Hostel you become a HI member, and no extra charges apply for future stays.

From the Airport Alghero Fertilia: 5 Km by car. You can also catch the bus outside the airport, which is just outside the terminal if you arrive with Ryanair. You need to get off from the bus at the first stop where there is a church on the square. From the square take the first street on the left which is Via Parenzo and we are just few minutes away at the number 79.From the Seaport Porto Torres: it is 30 Km by car. Also bus and train services available.You can get the train/bus to Alghero.When you arrive in Alghero train station, please get the Orange bus Alghero-Fertilia which will bring you to the square where then you just need to walk few minutes to Via Parenzo 79.From our place: You can catch a bus to Fertilia every hour.
