Sato Cave Hotel

Sato Cave Hotel is located in the heart of Cappadocia in the small town of Goreme. The hotel is situated in an old Greek house, on one of the small winding streets that lead up out of the centre of town. Recent renovations have preserved the buildings authentic structure and character, and combined it with modern comfort. Sato has 5 cave rooms, 2 arched rooms and 2 rooms containing the original Greek stone architecture of Cappadocia. All rooms have their own private bathrooms as well as central heating. The natural stone structure of the rooms keeps them cool during the hot summer months, and preserves the heat during winter.On the top floor of Sato Cave Hotel there is an indoor common room and restaurant as well as two outdoor terraces. From all of these areas there are panoramic views of the village that lies below and the surrounding landscapes of bizarre rock formations.The place is run by a local family, who offer their guests a clean, comfortable and friendly place to stay. You will be provided with all the desired information on Cappadocia, including the best hiking routes and lesser known places of interest in the area. Direct buses go from all major cities in Turkey to Cappadocia. Most buses stop at Goreme bus station from where it is a 2 minute walk up to Sato Cave Hotel. If you let us know in advance when you will be arriving we will be happy to come and meet you at the bus station. Some bus companies only stop at the nearby town of Nevsehir from where they provide free transport by minibus to Goreme bus station.
