The Witch's Hat

The Witch's Hat is a charming building, built in 1897 and opened as a hostel in 1997. It has recently been restored and is an Australian Federation style building with attached modern units that can accommodate 47 guests. It is a very distinctive building due to the turret at the front of the house, hence the name ' The Witch's Hat'.Located on a quiet street in Northbridge it has retained all its charcter and includes polished wooden floorboards in the dorm rooms, while the twin and double rooms are located in a converted bakery.We provide all our guests with clean linen and hotel quality beds, air conditioning in every room and recently we have added a new high speed internet cafe. A relaxed and friendly welcome awaits our guests, helpful staff can orgaise tours, and trips, car hire and other activities. We are close to a lovely park and a great leisure centre, but still only minutes walk from the cultural scene and pubs/restaurants of trendy Northbridge.

From the City Busport catch the BlueCat (free city bus service) and get off at Francis St. (Stop #11).
