Hotel Botaniek is an 18th century mansion elegantly renovated into a charming hotel. The hotel is conveniently located right in the very heart of historic Bruges. We are very well known for our tranquil atmosphere, which makes the Botaniek*** an ideal hotel, especially after a busy day of sightseeing. We are located on a very quiet street only 50 meters from Bruges' picturesque and romantic canals. We are also only a few minutes walking distance from the main squares of auml#34;Burgauml#34; and auml#34;Marketauml#34;. There is no better place than the Hotel Botaniek. An ideal starting point from which to discover first-hand auml#34;Venice of the Northauml#34;.The hotel has a breakfast room that has been tastefully decorated by the owner, and a quiet sitting room with furniture reminiscent of the Louis XV era. There are only 3 rooms on each floor and each floor may be reached via the elevator. The top floor offers several unique and panoramic views of Bruges and its wonderful architecture including the Church of Our Lady, Botaniek Park, the Belfry Tower and of course a roof top view of the beautiful houses in the neighborhood.We offer nine charming rooms with ensuite bathrooms, bath or shower and toilet. By car: When you arrive in Bruges go in the direction of 'station'. Leave the station at your right hand side. You are now on the ring road around Bruges.About 1 km after the railroad station, you enter the town by the town gate 'Katelijnepoort' (on the left). You are now in the 'Katelijnestraat'. Go straight until you get to the church 'Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk' (on your right). Go to the right. You are then on a street called 'Dyver', where the most important museums are situated (Gruuthuse, Brangwyn, Groeninge). Go straight on to the 'Vismarkt' (Fish market), on your left. Opposite the fish market (on your right), there is a small street 'Josef Suvauml#233;estraat'. Take this road. The hotel is in the next street on the left.By train: At the station in Bruges you take bus no. 6 or 16 to the 'Vismarkt' (fish market).Go back a few steps and take the small street 'Josef Suvauml#233;estraat'.
