The Campello apartment are located in Campello sul Clitumno just 5 minutes (5 km) from the city of Spoleto and 15 minutes from Assisi.The country house-fortress Campello, owned by the ancient Campello family is situated on a beautiful hill with stretches of olive groves. It is an outpost of the Campello castle, which dominates the entire valley. The country house is a newly restored construction which has preserved the splendour and charm of the medieval period, thus giving the impression of being in a small medieval village.Campello sul Citurno is renowned not only for its beautiful location, but also because its springs of depurative water were mentioned in the works of Propertius, Virgil, and Pliny back in the Roman times, and later by George Byron, Corot, and Carducci. Inside this fairy-tale setting there is a charming little lake formed by those famous waters which were sacred to the Romans. The country house is sub-divided into three apartments each measuring 120-130 sq. metres. The three apartments can accommodate six people. There are three double bedrooms, each with views on the valley, and two bathrooms (one shower, one bath).Each apartment has a separate entrance, a fully-equipped kitchen, a very comfortable living-dining room with satellite TV, and a large fireplace. Each has a private terrace or exit with a view and is equipped for outdoor dining.We are sure that your stay with us will be a memorable one.
