By Air:Milan has two international airports: Malpensa and Linate. Malpensa airport is the main international airport. It handles almost all international flights. It lies at about 50 km northwest of the city. Linate airport handles most domestic and some European flights. It is around 7 km east of the city centre and it is connected to the central railway station by a shuttle bus running every 20 minutes (in the evening every 30 min.) Also ordinary city buses (n. 73) run from Linate to the centre (Piazza San Babila).
