HOTEL La Floridiana (4 stars ) is surrounded by greenery and faces south in a marvellous triangle of sky, sea and pine trees. It is set in a central but quiet position, just a few metres from the shopping centre and not far from the most important cultural and natural places. We are 50 metres from the main street 'Camerelle' and just a few minutes from the famous Piazzetta.A large and welcoming room with colour satellite TV and an American Bar is available, where guests can spend happy, relaxing evenings.The rooms are all elegantly furnished, each with its own particular style and rendered unique by a touch of creative flair. Every one of the 36 rooms has been completely renovated and equipped with air conditioning, direct dial telephone, Satellite TV, mini bar, safety deposit box, hairdryer, bathtub or shower. Almost (except standard rooms and single rooms) all of the bedrooms have a balcony or terrace with sea view. From Naples by ferry (the crossing takes about 80 minutes, price approximately 4,50 Euro) or by hydrofoil (40 minutes, price approximately 11 Euro);From Sorrento by ferry (the trip takes about 40 minutes, price approx. 6 Euro) or by hydrofoil (20 minutes, price 8,50 Euro).The most convenient is departure from Molo Beverello, as departures are more frequent and you have a larger selection of ferries and hydrofoils. From the port of Capri to La Floridiana hotel:Once you have arrived at the Marina Grande port, go to the Piazzetta. The most convenient way is by the funicular or Bus (winter time) (3 minutes, price 1,30 Euro per person) or by taxi (slower but more comfortable; approx. 10 minutes, for a cost of 11 Euro circa).To get to the hotel from the Piazzetta, walk down the main shopping streets Via Vittorio Emanuele, then Via Camerelle.
