Situated on the Eastern side of Clifden Town, with a spate salmon river directly across from us and set on the hill overlooking a heavily wooded valley, we are a perfect location for a visit to Clifden and Connemara. Our spacious and very comfortable bedrooms are hotel standard size and furnished with 5`Queen beds, and all equipped with large tvs and own DVD/CD players. Tea and Coffee tray with biscuits, clock radios, hair dryers, books/magazines, courtesy Clifden and Connemara maps. All bathrooms have Showers and all come with shower caps, shampoos, soap bars, cotton buds, cotton wool pads etc., etc. Relax in our very comfortable Guest Lounge with own real fire, small library, board games, cards. Large comfortable sofas and rockers. Enjoy your tea and coffees here.Our large and spacious Dining Room has private individual tables for each bedroom with lovely views overlooking our gardens. Enjoy a sumptous breakfast from our Buffet Table from apple/grapefruit/cranberry/orange juices, cereals from cornflakes, rice crispies, weetabix, muesli, branflakes. Fresh fruit bowl with bananas/oranges/apples and fruits of season. Yogurt selection from strawberry, apple, natural, peach etc., etc. Enjoy our health option of prune, grapefruit and peach segments. For a hot dish, choose from pancakes, scrambled/poached eggs, beans on toast, cheese & tomato on toast to list just a few. Enjoy a large selection of teas and coffees. Our teas range from Assam, Earl Grey, Herbal, Fruit, Camomile as far as Moroccan Gunpowder Tea!!Dinner is also served in our Dining Room and can be prebooked with us during stay or look up our Specials.In all bedrooms we have an excellent Information Folder on walking/hiking along with courtesy maps of Clifden and Connemara and our own personal advice on what else to do. We have Bikes for hire as well as a superb Outdoor Hot Tub which is situated to side of house on elevated site, small charge. We can organise any activity for you.As our home is situated at the start of the small foothills leading to the Twelve Bens, we are an excellent location for medium to long walks. The starting point for the Owenglen River walk also is right beside our home. FROM GALWAY CITY : We are located 70 minutes (80km) , West of Galway city on the N59. After passing auml#34;Clifden Glen Holiday Villageauml#34;, drive on a further 300m, and turn right at our prominent signage,going over Turret bridge.FROM WESTPORT ::We are located 1 hours drive,(66km), south of Westport, on the N59. On entering Clifden, turn left at T-junction with Esso petrol station on your right. Drive past Statoil Petrol Station and we are 300mts after '100km Speed Limit sign', on left hand side.
