Hostels in Naxos - Günstige Unterkunft in Naxos

Die größte der Kykladeninseln ist sehr fruchtbar und ist landschaftlich sehr reizvoll. Fernab vom Massentourismus finden Individualisten hier ein Paradies aus grünen Hochebenen, versteckten Dörfern, langen Sandstränden mit einsamen Buchten und steilen Felsklippen, die über dem türkisfarbenen Wasser thronen. Bettenburgen und Touristenzentren sucht man hier vergeblich. Dagegen gibt es urige Cafés und Tavernen, wie das To Castro oder das Labyrinth, in denen man die griechische Küche genießen kann. Gemütliche Pensionen und Privatzimmer laden zum Verweilen ein. In der Inselhauptstadt Naxos, auch Chora genannt, gibt es zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die venezianische Burgstadt Kastron, die in den Stadtvierteln Burgos und Agorá gelegene mittelalterliche Bürgerstadt mit dem Grotta-Museum, das antike Tempelportal Portará und die Kuroi, antike unvollendete Kolossalstatuen. Im Ocean Club und im Lalos Sailing kann man die Nacht zum Tag machen. Die besten Sandstrände wie der Agia Anna, Agia Prokopios oder Plaka für Windsurfer liegen an der Westküste der Insel. Dort kann man sich in den zahlreichen Strandbars wie dem lebhaften Kalhua oder der Island Bar ein paar kühle Drinks gönnen.
